The Buffalo

Set along the water’s edge with uninterrupted views across the lake, the Buffalo Tent is Hippo Lakes’ finest, most meticulously appointed accommodation. Warm wooden finishes, a generous king bed, and a premium living room give the interior a sense of considered luxury that feels distinct from the other tents on the property. Floor-to-ceiling design details and natural materials keep the space grounded in its surroundings while delivering a level of finish that sets it apart.

Step through to your private patio and the reserve opens up completely. The splash pool sits just steps from the door, offering a cool, quiet place to decompress after a morning drive. The wood-fired hot tub on the deck extends the evening well past sunset. Inside, the deep soaking tub with a private lake view is one of the more memorable details of the stay, the kind of thing guests mention when they get home.
